About The Feel Good Fund for Cancer Research

The Feel Good Fund for Cancer Research, Inc. was founded in memory of Amy Turner Tunick.

An author,  columnist and entrepreneur, Amy wrote "The Feel Good Column" for the South Florida Sun-Times newspaper. The column touched on a variety of human interest topics, offering advice and encouragement for improving one's life.

In 2003, Amy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She was 44.

Unwilling to be defeated, and despite bleak statistics, Amy continued to write "The Feel Good Column", incorporating her own experiences as she journeyed through the process called "living with cancer". She wrote about the physical challenges of cancer as well as the emotional challenge of facing one's own mortality. Yet, she never lost her humor and continued to inspire and uplift her readers.

Amy defied the odds. She lived 31 months, until May 13th, 2006.

Her legacy lives on, in her book "Feeling Good Even Through Cancer" - a compilation of columns written over a period of about 4 years for the South Florida Sun-Times - and through The Feel Good Fund for Cancer Research.

The purpose of The Feel Food Fund for Cancer Research is to raise money for cancer research and to continue to spread Amy's message ... be optimistic, live life fully and, yes, feel good. Funding will come from the sale of the book as well as other "Feel Good" products coming soon to this website.

The Feel Good Fund for Cancer Research is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
